Malaysia is a maritime nation. Our country’s identity as a maritime leader, that began in the 15th century along the banks of Malacca, has continued to prosper and grow through the years. With two of our ports holding their top 20 positions steadily, and the bustling shipping activities that have carried out through the Straits of Malacca for centuries, it can safely be estimated that Malaysia’s demand for skilled maritime practitioners will only increase in leaps and bounds as our nation actively works towards becoming more digitally-competent.
